Style Personality

Why Dressing Your Style Personality Is Really Worth It

Style Personality is often overlooked by a lot of men and women because they have the body shape to wear and follow each trend.  The problem here is that if the trend is not part of your style personality there is a good chance you will feel awkward or uncomfortable and not be able to pull off the look as smoothly as maybe someone with a Style Personality that fits the trend.

Style is not just about the picture you present to the world, inner style is about knowing who you are and where you are going, and being proud of the footprints you are leaving on this amazing earth.

Wearing Your Style Personality

Your style personality is simply an expression of who you are on the inside.

Many people look to the media and fashion pages to find out what they should wear, or some find themselves replicating styles from influencers. While it is great to find inspiration from various sources, most people would not suit all the fashion trends from every season. Hence we all need a sense of style to sift through the trends and pick only what really works for us.

When you wear your true personal style, you dress in a way that embraces your personality. The choices of your clothes, colours, accessories and hairstyles are what you will feel comfortable and right in! Be it in a presentation meeting or interview session, you will feel “comfortable in your own skin” and gain a whole new confidence about who you are.

Elements That Works with Style Personality

As an Image Consultant or Personal Stylist, there are four main categories or style elements we take into consideration these being your Body Shape, Skin Tone, Style Personality, and Lifestyle, all important if you want to look and feel your best.

Your Body Shape will determine the styles that you can wear to flatter your body same goes for your Skin Tone, your true colours can make you look 10 years younger but the wrong colours can age you overnight.  If you wear the wrong styles for your personality you could risk looking awkward, submissive and self-aware and the reason behind this – you are trying to be someone you are not.

As a guideline to help you find the Style Personality you lean towards, some characteristics of the general 5 Style Expressions have been defined.
